Bio

Hi! I’m a PhD candidate at Cornell, using satellite and ground-based geophysical data to study volcanoes. In the past I have worked for Micro-g LaCoste, analyzing gravity data and helping to test and design gravity meters. I completed my Master’s thesis on geophysics and volcanology at Simon Fraser University. My twin passions are geophysics and volcanology. I am fascinated by volcanoes both in a geological and a human sense. I am mad for geophysics, endlessly curious to find new and better ways to “see” under volcanoes with geophysics. I also love to teach! Nothing gives me more joy than helping people understand the rocks around them.
